Concerning the imamate and if Ali was the immediate successor of the Prophet


The Companion agreed that the Prophet left no Wasiyya concerning the Caliphate. Any suggestion after this that he did, is a suggestion that they all erred, which is tantamount to disbelief in the inerrancy of the Umma as a whole. I do not think even a child would fall into this mistsake, much less a `Alim, much less a Wali.
