In this ongoing and pervasive propaganda drive, people are deceived into distancing themselves and scapegoating the Muslims. But guess what - Muslims are normal people like most of us and prefer to live in peace - here and anywhere.
Today - and earlier - the West is deliberately targeting Muslims and their countries in accordance with an intricately fashioned master plan of divide and conquer. Different tactics are used to increase discrimination, segregation, and sowing hatred in the community of humankind. And yes there are those who call themselves Muslims, but acting against mayor, general accepted tenets of Islam - obviously, they are doing the dirty work of the NWO/ Neo-imperialist/ Zionist forces. But this present fear-mongering is pernicious for all of humanity and it is a policy aimed at distracting from the real problems such as the depleting of reality from all of its higher levels (the sacred in its different aspects), the greediness of many in face of world poverty, and the devastation of the earth's environment. These are all troubles of which the holy Prophet (pbuh) has warned us against!

Preamble: A wave of demonizing Islam has been unleashed from certain quarters in the West and even in the East - especially since 9/11. It is a war staged by the self-loving (Western…) elites taking on different forms depending on place and circumstance, distracting from the global powers’ responsibility for the current crisis. The situation is difficult and needs logical and critical thinking by anyone to pierce through the media bubble. Violence, aggression and slaughter of innocents is terrorism, no matter by whom, no matter the justification.

It is not difficult to trace the confrontation between traditional and modern elements in the Islamic world to the secularizing and humanistic tendencies of the European Renaissance. link

Remember what really happened on 9/11 2001:
Those three! WTC buildings came down in controlled demolition! Inform yourself!
Over 2000 architects & engineers do confirm it.

About This Site ... (more than 770 pages.)

This site is a joint venture. We hold that Islam cannot be reduced to an utopia for the perfect society in this world (dunya), so Islam is not a social-utopian / political project. Instead life in this world (dunya) is a means and support for man in the Hereafter (akhirah). Furthermore Islam is neither limited to the domain of faith (imân), nor to its domain of law (shariah), instead there has to be a revival of Islamic (haqîqah), which is the science of Reality. Traditional Islam is fully aware of the nature of the (post-)modern world and capable of explaining that world as well as expounding in a contemporary language the teachings of Islam in both its exoteric and esoteric aspects to both the West and the Islamic world itself. SHN

Defending The Transgressed By Censuring The Reckless Against The Killing of Civilians, By Shaykh Mohammad Afifi al-Akiti

Shaykh Gibril F Haddad wrote this introduction to the following elaborate fatwa:
Gentle I am honored to present the following fatwa or "response by a qualified Muslim Scholar" against the killing of civilians by the Oxford-based Malaysian jurist of the Shafi`i School and my inestimable teacher, Shaykh Muhammad Afifi al-Akiti, titled Defending the Transgressed by Censuring the Reckless against the Killing of Civilians.

The Shaykh authored it in a few days, after I asked him to offer some guidance on the issue of targeting civilians and civilian centers by suicide bombing in response to a pseudo-fatwa by a deviant UK-based group which advocates such crimes ... [more]

An Islamic State?

The idea of a nation-state is a modernist idea, not an islamic concept. The only valid islamic state “is essentially a universal state, a state without borders.” The muslims do live of course in de-facto nation-states, but they should not accept in principle the division of the world into nations and states. Otherwise “their main concern would be more the preservation of the integrity of the borders (of any land area) rather than the integrity of Islam,” - may Allah forbid! [The Illusions Of Fundamentalism]

WARNING! Do not join Daesh (”IS”) HARAM!

They accuse every other Muslim (who does not follow their bigoted, anti-traditional interpretations) to be an apostate ( takfír ). It is not Islamic to establish an islamic khalifate & laws in their way. And it is against the intention of the Holy Prophet to misinterpret Quran and hadith!

Three Things In This World:

Imam Shafi`i said: 3 things in this world have been made lovely to me: avoiding affectation, treating people kindly, and following the way of tasawwuf.*

He also said: I accompanied the Sufis and received from them but three  words: their statement that time is a sword: if you do not  cut it, it cuts you; their statement that if you do not keep  your ego busy with truth it will keep you busy with  falsehood; their statement that deprivation is immunity.

On Extremism, Terrorism

There is no legal precedent in the history of Sunni Islam for the tactic of attacking civilians and overtly non-military targets.

The reasons why we deem suicide or 'martyrdom'-operations and the killing of civilians as unlawful and cursed, constituting without exception a reprehensible innovation (bid`ah) in Islam and a crime in general, will be shown below, with proofs and various texts presented, but also diverging opinions for references. The war on and occupation of Iraq was wrong, illegal; against Islamic law as well as against international law, as lawless an endevour as were the attacks on Afghanistan with the subsequent occupation and negative for international relations between the US and the Muslim World. [more]

Comment by Dr Gibril Fouad Haddad, 2013

”As we have said time and again shaytan and its followers always want Muslims to make less Dhikr of Allah Most High, less Salawat on His Prophet (upon him blessings and peace), less Tarawih in Ramadan, less respect of Awliya, less Tawassul through the Prophet and Salihin, and less pursuit of all the blessings and spiritual knowledge and practice that Allah has made available to this Umma.

Even when the Umma is being physically attacked and slaughtered East and West, these enemies have no shame in continuously trying to divide Muslims, eviscerate the Deen from its spiritual content and weaken Da`wa as much as they can.”

”They wish to extinguish Allah's light by formalizing His religion, encouraging secularism, and dissociating Muslims from their emotional attachment to Allah and His Prophet and Awliya which is the basis of strong faith.

They are trying instead to produce automatons who force themselves and others to follow rules without understanding. This is the exact recipe of extremism that is now devastating the world.

Whenever we see someone trying to push such an agenda we should recognize them for what they are - Wahhabi ”Salafis”, modern offshoots of Kharijism - and send them packing, just as each generation of Sunni teachers did in their time and just as the true scholars of Ahl al-Sunna have always done and will continue to do. Wa-min Allah al-Tawfiq wal-Hidaya.”

The Meaning of Peace
The Islamic world seeks to reassert its independance, and right so. Islam has again become a force to be reckoned with, despite of recent trends of Islamic "fundamentalism", Islamic modernism and the spread of secularism. People need to lay off with (following their leaders of disinformation in) their nonsensical ways of finding fault with Islam* - the last authentic world religion, and see to their governments to leave the Muslim peoples in peace, going about their business. *The faults of Muslims are not the fault of Islam.

Advice by Shaykh Ahmad Zarruq -

1. Meditation For The Way Of The Truth

For Shaykh Ahmad Zarruq meditation is of the concious part of the soul which is prepared to go through the Way of the Truth. When a man investigates himself and discovers his vices and tries to get rid of them, he must not neglect meditation lest he lose his contact with existing objects and become like an animal deprived of the delight of thinking and discovering what is behind the appearances of Existence. 177

A deeper look inside ourselves and at phenomenal existence will make clear our entire dependance upon God, not only in existence but also in the continuation of this existence. God created us and He preserves our existence, and it is up to His absolute will to do whatever He wishes for us and all creation. 150

Organise your time, in a matter appropriate to the times specific needs using gentleness and toleration and be very wary of either harshness or laxity. This is so because too much laxity concerning permissible matters pulls the heart backwards in its journey; until even a man of resolve ends up like a foolish boy.

2. Imam Ahmad Zarruq About Tasawwuf And Fiqh

“There is no tasawwuf without fiqh; because there is no other way to understand the commandments of Allah that concern the exterior except by fiqh. And fiqh is nothing without tasawwuf; because deeds have no meaning unless accompanied by sincerety (sidq) and dedication (tawajjuh).

Neither of them is of any use without true belief., neither of them [fiqh/tasawwuf] is valid unless true belief is present in the first place.” (From the 4th Principle of his Qawa’id al-Tasawwuf)[more]

3. Spiritual Counsel of Sidi Ahmad Zarruq

Know – may Allah give you and us success, rectify our worldly and otherworldly lives, and grant us adherence to the way of the Truth in our journeys and our sojourns – that repentance (taubah) is a key, piety (taqwa) is vast, and uprightness is the source of rectification. Furthermore, a servant is never free of blunders, shortcomings, or lassitude.

Therefore, never be neglectful of repentance; never turn away from the act of returning to Allah; and never neglect acts that bring you closer to Allah. Indeed, any time you fail to do one of these three things, repent and return. Any time you make a mistake, listen and obey.

Anytime you display shortcomings or show lack of enthusiasm, don’t desist in your efforts.

Let your main concern be to remove from your outward state anything displeasing, and then continue to work on your outward state through continuous counsel.

Continue doing this until you find that fleeing from anything outwardly displeasing is second nature to you and that your avoidance of the boundaries of prohibited things is as if it has resulted from a protective net that was placed before you. At this point, it is time to turn inward toward your heart’s presence and to its reality with both reflection and remembrance.

Don’t hasten the end result before you have completed the beginning, but, [more]

Saudi KSA Not Representing Muslims!

The Wahabis/ Salafis have it wrong!

No Name-Calling!
No Takfír!
No Pride!

About Us: This is a Sunni site. We believe tasawwuf is one of the Islamic sciences among others, such as the fiqh and the hadith sciences. We believe that those who adhere to the Salafi ideological and theological view are part of Ahlu-Sunna wal Jamá`a. Although they hold different views they are our brothers and sisters in Islam. Regarding the Shia, we accept them as Muslims and no comment after that. When it comes to people of Al-Qaeda, Daesh /”IS” and other extremist Muslims, we do not agree with them on their views on Jihad, state-building etc. nor do we condone their actions. On this site we have rectified various misconceptions and aberrations which are often propagated by those who should know better.
May Allah guide them!

And Allah (may His Majesty be Exalted) knows most and best.

Regarding Living In Non-Muslim Countries

Imam al-Māwardi wrote, "If a person has the ability to express his faith in a country whose majority are not Muslim (land of disbelief), then residence there is better than migration because there is hope (with her/his presence) that others will accept Islām."
وقال الماوردي: إذا قدر على إظهار الدين في بلد من بلاد الكفر، فالإقامة فيها أفضل من الرحلة منها؛ لما يترجى من دخول غيره في الإسلام.

For further clarification on this, see Ibn Hajar's Fatwā al-Kubrā where he notes that "residence" is the relied opinion of Imām al-Shāfi's school. Al-Haytahmi wrote, "Because it accomplishes the greatest goal: spreading faith."

The Holy Prophet durood1 Travelled Via Quds To The 7 Heavens

Assisted by the Angel Gibril (a.s.), the holy Prophet (pbuh - who may not be depicted - and who is here represented by an artistic figure) travelled one night on a miraculous horse from Madina via Jerusalem (Quds - where he prayed with those other prophets) to the seven heavens and brought with him sacred knowledge for the benefit of mankind.

Example of how to react to the provocations of the nonbelievers ->

Muhammad - When They Insult Our Prophet (pbuh) by Nouman Ali Khan

Example of refuting the delusions of the Daesh extremists ->

Sh. Fadel Soliman exposing ISIS delusion, showing what real Jihad is. Towards the end he presents examples of ”Daesh’s selective fiqh,” selective really meaning false and going against the fundamental tenets of Islam.

Real Jihad vs. ISIS Delusion - By Fadel Soliman

Not all the movements using the name, symbols, and language of Islam are of an authentically Islamic character, least of all radical and violent forces that pretend to represent Islam and that distort the teachings of the religion for their own political ends.

Islam has authentic traditions with chains of transmissions, thoroughly examined by Muslim scholars preserved and taught to the present day.

Two centuries ago, if Westerners or others were to study Islam,
they would have encountered but a single Islamic tradition.

The name Salaf has been usurped by a movement which seeks to impose its narrow interpretation of religion towards a re-fashioning of the teachings of Islam.

The ISIS or IS project is nothing but a pretext to upset, destroy and control the Middle East. link

It is established that the Prophet used to exhort his Community
to hold on to his Sunna and warn them not to contravene it.

"They (Khawarij = those outside) transferred the Qur'anic verses meant to refer to unbelievers and made them refer to believers."
Said the Prophet (saws). link

One charactersitic of modern thought is the loss of the sense of the sacred.

The reduction of intellect to reason has made sacred knowledge inaccessible and to some even meaningless.

It is not difficult to trace the confrontation betw. traditional and modern elements in the Islamic world to the secularizing and humanistic tendencies of the European Renaissance. link

Daesh (not ’IS’): You have misinterpreted Islam into a religion of harshness, brutality, torture and murder. This is a great wrong and an offence to Islam, to Muslims and to the entire world. Cease it! link

For fundamentalism to match its aim, it would need its supporters not being themselves corrupted by the anti-traditional mentality of the modern world. link

WARNING! HARAM to join Daesh (Not: ”IS”)!
They accuse every other Muslim (who does not follow their interpretation) to be an apostate ( takfír ). It is anti-Islamic now to establish islamic laws in that way. And it is against Islam to misinterpret Quran in a literalist way!
