Should we join Jamaat behind Kabaa's Imam or Masjid-e-Nabvi's Imam, the reason being that they do not belong to ahl as sunna?
[Study the ethics of disagreement!]
Even if you could prove that this or that _particular_ imam does not
belong to Ahl al-Sunna, it would still not mean they are disbelievers! If
they should declare us kafir for being Ashʿari or Sufi, we don't declare
them kafir for being Wahhabi or LaMadhhabi. We fear Allah. If they meet
the conditions of imamate in salat, then we should pray behind them and
not split the jamaʿa. We should study the ethics of disagreement in our
time to avoid pouring oil on the fire of intra-Muslim divisions, and Allah
knows best.
