The Prophet ( sallAllahu `aleihi wa sallam ) said to his companions:
Is it difficult for any of you to recite one third of the Qur'an in one night?

Faḍāil Qurān

1.

Sura al baqara (2)-
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: Don't turn your houses into graves, for truly - Satan will not gain entrance into the house of him who recites Sura al baqara.

Sura Hā mīm al-mumin (40) 1-3, Sura al baqara (2) 255
He also reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: He who recites in the morning the first three verses of [Sura] Hā, mīm, al-mumin as well as the verse of the throne, will be protected by them until evening and he who recites them in the evening, will be protected until morning.

Sura al baqara (2) 285--286
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
He who recites at night the last two verses of al baqara then this is enough for him (as protection - kafatāhu).

Sura al kahf (18) 1-3
Abu Dardā' reported Allah's messenger as saying, He who recites three verses at the beginning of al-Kahf will be protected from the trial of the Dajjāl.
Tirmidhī transmitted it, saying this is a hasan sahīh tradition.

Sura al kahf (18) 1-10
Abu Dardā' reported: He who learns the first ten verses of Sura al-kahf by heart, will be protected from the Dajjāl (Antichrist).

Sura yāsīn (36)
Anas reported God's messenger as saying, Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur'ān is Yā Sīn. Allah will record anyone who recites Yā Sīn as having recited the Qur'ān ten times. Tirmidhī and Dārimī- transmitted it, Tirmidhī saying this is a gharīb tradition.

Sura al Tā Hā (20) Sura yāsīn (36)
Abū Huraira reported God's messenger as saying, A thousand years before creating the heavens and the earth Allah recited Tā Hā and Yā Sīn, and when the angels heard the recitation they said, 'Happy are a people to whom this comes down, happy are the minds which carry this, and happy are the tongues which utter this.'
Dārimī transmitted it.

Sura al mulk (67)1-30
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
Truly there is a Sura of the Qur'an with 30 verses which intercedes for someone [ with Allah ] ( shafa'at li-rajulin ) until he is forgiven and this is the Sura 'Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty'.

Sura al zilzal (99 ) Sura al kāfirūn (109) Sura al ikhlāS (112)-
Anas ibn Mālik reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: He who recites 'When the earth is shaken' then this is equal half of the Qur'an and who recites 'Say: O disbelievers!' then this equals a quarter of the Qur'an and who recites 'Say Allah (the) One' then this equals a third of the Qur'an.

Sura al ikhlāS (112)-
Abū Ayyūb reported: The Prophet said to his companions:
Is it difficult for any of you to recite one third of the Qur'an in one night? He who recites 'Say Allah (the) One, the Self-Sufficient Master' to the end has recited one third of the Qur'an.

11.

Sura al falaq (113) Sura an nās (114)-
'Uqbah ibn 'Amir al-Juhanniy reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
Allah has revealed to me two verses the like of which have not been seen: ' Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of Mankind' until the end of the Sura and ' Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of Daybreak ' until the end of the Sura.
