    Oppression - Tyranny

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "After my time,

leaders will arise whose falsehood will be believed and who will be

assisted in their oppression by those who enter their presence. They

have nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with them...But

they who do not enter their presence, believe their falsehood nor

help them in their oppression, those belong to me and I belong to

    them." [Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1039]

help them in their oppression, those belong to me and I belong to

    them." [Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1039]

    Ibn Mas'ud radhiallahu `anhu reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ

as saying: "There will come rulers surrounded by

low types of people and those rulers will oppress the people and

tell lies. Anyone who calls upon them, believes their lies, and

helps them in their oppression, does not belong to me, nor I belong

to him, and anyone who neither calls upon them nor supports them in

their tyranny belongs to me and I belong to him". He also

reported that the Prophet said: "The one who supports a tyrant

becomes a subject to him." [Ahmad & Ibn Habban]
