    Recitation of Holy Qur'an

    Some Hadith regarding Recitation of Holy Qur'an.

    Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A.A.) says that the Holy Prophet
    (peace and blessings be upon him) said, " When the people
    gather in one of the houses of Allah (mosques) to
    recite the Book of Allah, and teach it to each others,
    tranquillity and peace descend upon the gathering, (Allah's)
    mercy covers them, angels spread their wings over
    them, and Allah mentions them among those who are
    around Him. " (Sahih Muslim)

    Hazrat Abu Umamah (R.A.A.) says that he heard the Holy
    Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say, " Study the
    Qur'an (regularly) for it will act as an intercessor and entreat
    for its readers on the Day of Judgement. " (Sahih Muslim)
