’Whoever leaves off arguing whilst he is in the right, Allah shall build for him a palace in the upmost part of Paradise. Whoever leaves it when he is in the wrong, Allah shall build for him a palace in the outskirts of Paradise.’

This is because the role of scholars in our times is to awaken emotion and zeal in the souls of the Muslims, and to encourage their leaders and rulers to stand up to the enemies of Islam who are enslaving the defenceless believers in Palestine, Eritrea, Afghanistan, and the Philippines.^[1]

Whoever concerns himself with these issues, dividing the ranks of the believers, is only doing so in order to hide his inadequacy and his avoidance of what is incumbent upon him, and it in no way endears him to Allah. Islam has no land of its own today, and the Muslims are humiliated everywhere. They will never retain their strength, or be released from this humiliation, -

- until they volunteer themselves for the defence of Islam and the protection of its essence, alongside the people of influence and authority.
