I’m seeing a lot of the “the people of Gaza can be targeted because they voted for Hamas.” I recall seeing this argument before… used by Osama bin Laden in his justification for targeting American civilians. See below in his 2002 message to Americans.

Sir. To be honest I was just feeling outrageous over Muslims for just posting tweets in solidarity with Palestinians and doing nothing on the ground to help them. Reading your post changed my view to an extent. But we still need physical support for Palestinians, not just words.

They later said they cannot verify the claim.
