{Their reckoning has drawn near to men, in heedlessness are they turning aside.} 21-1

Islam is a worldview, a best practice, the answer sought for – from the super-human, the divine level: for normal humanity.

The understanding and practice of Islam has to be based on the authentic Islamic tradition.*

Islam is a proven way to Allah and piety or reverential fear, awareness ( تقوى‎ taqwā ).

{Allah has sent down to you the Book and wisdom, and He has taught you what you did not know, and great is Allah's grace upon you.}
4-113

It is not a made-up system of human thought, although human thought (intellect عقل) is necessary, and every generation has to rediscover the true prophetic message and to discard what is false: the misrepresentations, lies, and innovations, and the greatest innovation (bidʿa ) is tanfīr, repulsing people by harshness and extremism.

Islam steers towards knowledge and love of God (ʿilm, maghrīfa ) while instilling mercy and compassion (raḥma) in the world. Therefore it is a struggle against injustice, indifference and the ongoing curtailment of mercy.

*The Islamic tradition is the divine, eternal message, it is that which is handed over, or revealed from Allah through His prophets, not necessarily people's customs. more…

{Hold fast to what has been revealed to you- you truly are on the right path.}
43-43

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

is the Messenger of Allah, (the blessings and peace of Allah upon him)

The message of Islam is exemplified by the extraordinary person of Prophet Muhammad, the Beloved of Allah, (the blessings and peace of Allah upon him) who realised the perfect human being in all its aspects.

His shining light { قَدْ جَاءَكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُّبِين }* enables us - rather feeble human beings - to live according to the Will of Allah (Islam) the way our Prophet ﷺ taught his companions (ṣaḥābah), and how generations of Muslim scholars and saints have guarded and actualized those teachings over the centuries.

True felicity can be found,
but you need to repent/ improve your relation to Allah (may His Majesty be exalted!)

Ask yourself: How can I find God/ Allah?
+ When I find Him, how does He want me live my life?

The postmodern idea of the self leading us to self-realization and therefore happiness is not working. Nafs (greed, egotism) is driving the show. Siddiq Habib

Hadith on Akhlaq

Fear Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good deed and it will erase it, and behave with good character towards people.

Make the Heart Tender

Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise, and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little.
`Aisha from the Prophet
, Sahih al-Bukhari 6464/ Book 81, Hadith 53
